Full review

The Camco Awning Pull Strap is a simple but essential accessory designed for RV and camper owners who rely on manual roll-up awnings for shade and weather protection. Crafted from heavy-duty webbing material, this strap attaches to the awning roller or arm and gives users an easy, reliable way to open and close their awning without straining to reach the roller tube directly. For anyone who has struggled to grab a slick metal roller at an awkward angle, this strap solves that problem by extending reach and providing a sturdy grip point, making the process of deploying or retracting the awning smoother and safer.

Built with durability in mind, the Camco Awning Pull Strap is constructed to withstand constant exposure to sun, rain, dust, and the general wear and tear of life on the road. The webbing is reinforced to resist fraying and stretching, ensuring that it continues to perform reliably trip after trip. Its compact, lightweight design means it does not add bulk to your awning setup, yet it delivers a noticeable improvement in ease of use, particularly for RVers who may have limited mobility or find it difficult to bend or stretch to operate the awning manually. The strap typically features a secure loop or hook-style end that attaches directly to the awning hardware, allowing for quick installation without specialized tools.

This accessory is especially valuable for owners of travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes equipped with manual patio awnings, where daily setup and takedown are part of the camping routine. By reducing the physical effort needed to manage the awning, the Camco Awning Pull Strap helps prevent accidental slips or fumbling that could lead to injury or awning damage. It's a small investment that enhances convenience and safety, making it a practical addition to any RV maintenance kit or awning accessory collection. Whether you're a seasoned full-time traveler or a weekend camper, this pull strap streamlines a daily task, letting you spend less time wrestling with hardware and more time enjoying the outdoors.
