Full review

The Camco 5th Wheel Sewer Hose Support is a purpose-built accessory designed to address the unique drainage challenges faced by fifth wheel owners, whose taller ride height and longer distance to the ground create extra sag and awkward angles in a standard sewer hose run. Constructed from durable, UV-resistant plastic, this support system lifts and cradles the hose along its length, preventing it from kinking, pooling, or dragging on the ground between the RV outlet and the sewer connection. Its segmented design allows it to flex and adjust to the contours of uneven campsites, ensuring a consistent downward slope so waste flows smoothly and completely into the dump station without backups or leaks.

Setup is straightforward and requires no tools, making it a practical choice for campers who want a reliable solution without added complexity. The support consists of multiple interlocking sections that can be configured to match the specific length and height needs of a fifth wheel setup, accommodating the extra distance often required compared to travel trailers or motorhomes. Each segment is engineered with a secure cradle that holds the hose firmly in place while still permitting a natural, gravity-assisted slope. This adjustability means campers can adapt the support to varying terrain, whether they're parked on gravel, grass, or a paved pad, without sacrificing stability or drainage efficiency.

Beyond its functional benefits, the Camco 5th Wheel Sewer Hose Support contributes to a cleaner, more sanitary dumping experience by minimizing the risk of hose sagging that can trap waste and cause odors or clogs. It also helps protect the hose itself from undue wear caused by contact with rough or abrasive ground surfaces, extending the life of this essential piece of RV equipment. Compact and lightweight when disassembled, the support stores easily in a basement compartment or storage bin, making it a convenient addition to a fifth wheel owner's waste management toolkit. For those who prioritize mess-free, efficient sewage disposal during their camping trips, this product offers a dependable, easy-to-use solution tailored specifically to the needs of larger towable RVs.
